I say this every time I write an update for this blog, so here it goes again. I am going to try and update more often.
Things have been pretty hectic over the first part of the year. It has been just over four months now since I joined The Herald-News as a staff photographer. This blog consist of images that span that first four months.
In that time I have had some truly wonderful experiences. The community has welcomed the paper back with wide open arms and people are so wonderful.
I cannot put to words the amount of positive energy I get when I tell someone I am with the paper and they say how happy they are to have us back in the community. I am incredibly honored that these people have let me into their lives to share there stories with the world.
I also had the privlage during the last four months to attend my third NPPA Northern Short Course and the second TID Workshop. I love the workshop experience and I feel that every time I attend a new one I gain a new piece of knowledge that I did not before.
In addition just being in that atmosphere is exhilarating. Being surrounded by so many wonderful people doing great things always serves as a reminder to why I do this.
I am excited about the future and what is to come. For now please enjoy these photographs.
Thank you for reading and looking.
